Kitch Walker Selected for Italian Trade Delegation

Flat Earth Imports’ President and Cofounder Kitch Walker was selected as a member of a United States trade delegation invited to Italy by the Italian Trade Commission. The delegation met with companies in Italy’s Umbria region, with a focus on area manufacturers.
Delegation members were selected to meet with and review various Umbrian ceramics companies with the aim of connecting them to North American markets. Walker was invited because of his expertise as a marketing strategist and consultant with Bozeman-based firms Ripple Marketing and Flat Earth Imports. Along with fulfilling the Italian Trade Commission’s objectives for the delegation, Walker utilized the trip as a chance to meet with and evaluate possible consociate companies for Flat Earth Imports.
The delegation visited with numerous companies, one of which was U. Grazia. The company’s namesake, Ubaldo Grazia, is the current CEO of this family-owned Deruta pottery producer in continual operation for more than 500 years; it is ranked as the 13th oldest family-owned company in the world.
